Sarah Spooner (BBS MSc MMII), International Marketing Manager for Nortev – the
manufacturer of Flexineb Equine Nebulisers, has a long standing background of horse ownership & management.

Originally, professionally working in International Sales & Marketing of Human Medical Devices since 2006, made the transfer to Veterinary Medical Devices joining the team at Flexineb in 2015.

This was made possible by Sarah’s lifelong passion for horses & all things veterinary related. Sarah has been riding since the tender age of 3 and been a horse owner for more than 20 years, not bad for a girl whose family are not at all equine focused!! Sarah’s passion to help people & their horses do well, really is evident, and she will try to help you & your animal in any way she can.

Dr Kate Allen BVSc PhD CertEM(IntMed) DipACVSMR MRCVS

Dr Kate Allen is an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Sports Medicine.

Her main expertise is equine respiratory disease and she runs the equine sports medicine service at the University of Bristol.

Her clinical and research interest is the mechanisms by which the respiratory system limits athletic performance both in health and disease.

Juliet M. Getty, Ph.D. is an internationally respected writer and lecturer on equine nutrition.  She is the author of the comprehensive reference, Feed Your Horse Like A Horse, the “Spotlight on Equine Nutrition Book Series.”   She regularly shares her expertise through lectures, internet seminars, equine websites, articles in national and international equine publications, and her e-newsletter, Forage for Thought.

Dr. Juliet Getty is often referred to as “a pioneer in free choice forage feeding of horses” whose philosophy is founded on feeding a horse in sync with its natural needs and instincts. Educated at the University of Florida and The University of Georgia, Dr. Getty is taught for 20 years at The University of North Texas where she was a professor and recipient of several teaching awards.

Dr. Getty offers unbiased opinions and recommendations, as she is independent of feed/supplement/pharmaceutical company influence. She approaches equine health from a holistic perspective, taking the horse’s entire history, medical conditions, mental state, physical activity, environment, and diet into consideration when customizing feeding approaches to promote health, reverse illness, and optimize performance.
